Monastery
On the site of the original late 13th century building, destroyed during the Hussite wars, a new monastery of the Minorite branch of the Franciscan order and the church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary, with a unique vaulting, were built at the end of the 15th century. After the war events in the first half of the 17th century, new reconstruction and adaptation work was done, also in the exterior. Several tombs were built in the underground spaces of the monastery church; the latest was built by the Paars in 1890.
The monastery church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary and the entire monastery complex are, primarily because of the preserved Gothic parts, architectural jewels.
